Julia graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at La Trobe University in 2011 and completed her postgraduate qualifications in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in 2019.

As an enthusiastic Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, Julia is dedicated to delivering exemplary care to women throughout all stages of life, utilising evidence-based practices. Her passion lies in supporting pregnant and postpartum women, particularly those navigating complex pregnancies. Having experienced her own complex journey to motherhood, Julia deeply understands the importance of profound empathy and comprehensive care during this pivotal life phase.

She strongly advocates for women’s health, helping women to treat pelvic organ prolapse, birth trauma, urinary incontinence, mastitis, abdominal muscle wall rehab, return to sports/exercise, pelvic pain (pain with intimacy, endometriosis, adenomyosis), peri and postmenopausal concerns, and bowel issues including constipation and incontinence. Julia’s holistic approach extends to addressing musculoskeletal concerns, including pelvic girdle pain, neck, thoracic, and lower back pain, both before and after childbirth. Additionally, Julia treats patients undergoing pre and post prostatectomy surgery.

With extensive experience as a senior physiotherapist in both public and private sectors, she effectively applies her skillset in Clinical Pilates, dry needling, and chronic pain management to help her patient’s achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Julia is a devoted mum and enjoys pilates, running and indulging in her love for Italian cooking and cuisine.
